Their sound and attitude could be named like a mix of punkrock and melodycore with the 90's punk and hardcore influences.The band started to promote itself in october of 2006 when they recorded they first demo/EP called „Somewhere Between Here and There”. In the october of 2008 they first full-lenght LP album „So Far From Home” has been released in Hungary and in the USA. This means 12 songs filled with passion, love, and hate. The album was a success and a good start for Nikson to begin touring outside their home country. During 2007-2008 Nikson toured Hungary, played a couple shows in Germany and Austria (sharing the stage with great austrian bands like 3 Feet Smaller and No More Encore) and won several musical talent scouts.That was enough to get the sponsorship of Famous Stars and Straps and Cocaine Energy Drink. In the summer of 2009 Nikson shot their first music video for the song „Stay With Me” and had a Scotland tour that year october. Nikson is a band playing aprox. 40 shows yearly and tries to get everywhere in the globe. Right now they are scheduling the year 2010 when they are going to tour their home country Hungary, Austria in may, Great-Brittain in october (cooperating with ELITE TourBooking UK) and many more shows to come. Nikson recorded their EP „Blue Bird” in september 2009 which is free to download (promotional) from their website. Zenéjük több műfajból táplálkozik, de leginkább a punkrock / melodycore a jellemzo. A zenekar 2007 januárjától koncertezik aktívan. Ebben az évben meghódították az ország nyugati régióját, majd 2008-ban a keleti országrész felé is nyitottak. Útjuk során folyamatos elismerésben részesültek, fellépéseik médiavisszhangja rendre pozitív. Ennek eredményeképpen felléphettek a 2007-es és 2008-as VOLT fesztiválokon és a 2008-as Rockmaraton fesztiválon. 2007 oszén egy német koncertszervezo iroda is felfigyelt a zenekarra, ennek köszönhetoen koncertet is adtak Berlinben. A következo év is folyamatos koncertezéssel telt, a tavasz folyamán több ausztriai koncerttel, felléphettek például többek közt az elso számú osztrák poppunk zenekar, a 3 Feet Smaller társaságában is. 2008 szeptemberében megjelent első nagylemezük „So Far From Home” címmel a hazai Edge Records gondozásában, illetve az Egyesült Államokban a Bite Me Records kiadásában. A lemez fogadtatása a vártnál is jobban sikerült, ezt a több száz eladott lemez, és több mint 300 ezres internetes hallgatottság is bizonyítja. A lemez megnyitotta az utat a srácok számára a nemzetközi koncertezés felé. 2009 ismét mozgalmasan indult, hiszen az év elején olyan sztárokkal léphettek fel, mint a kanadai This is a Standoff vagy a szlovák Good Reason, továbbá részt vettek a Macskanadrág lemezbemutató turnén, mint vendég zenekar. Júniusban leforgatták elso videoklipjüket a „Stay With Me” című dalhoz, ősszel pedig Skóciában népszerűsítették albumukat és Magyarország zenei hírnevét. Az év végén pedig kijöttek a „Blue Bird” című kislemezzel. A zenekar tagjai sok-sok munkával, elhivatottsággal és odaadással próbálják segíteni a bandát mind a hazai, mind a nemzetközi hírnév felé. 2008-tól a budapesti Underground Store és a Famous Stars and Straps támogatását élvezik, 2009-tol a pedig a Magyarországra betöro Cocaine energiaital is támogatja oket. Fennállásuk során több ízben is szerepeltek a Bravo és IM tinimagazinok hasábjain, illetve az OFFLINE és CKM magazinban. Jelenleg a 2010-es év szervezése folyik, mely során a Nikson ismét bejárja Magyarországot, októberben angliai turnéra megy az ELITE TourBooking UK szervezésében, novemberben pedig Skandináviába látogat a LIVE WIRE Booking szervezésében. Ezen kívül tervben van még egy Németországi turné, illetve egy új videóklip felvétele a “Blue Bird” EP egyik dalához. De még nincs vége!
